Huawei P20 Pro Review
The P20 Pro resembles the Apple’s iPhone X’s design mostly. Slim and sleek design with the iconic notch at the top of the screen as well. This notch houses the 24 MP camera and the front-facing sensors.
The body of the Huawei P20 Pro is a beautiful combination of glass and metal frame. The body curves at the edges where the Corning Gorilla Glass meets the aluminum frame.
The 82.0% screen to body ratio gives the P20 Pro a quite good look. There is a fingerprint sensor at the bottom of the screen which is not the part of the screen like the iPhone X.
P20 Pro’s rear is made of glass and it only places the triple camera. There is a dual combination of the 40 MP and 20 MP with the 8 MP camera just below.
The bad part of the Huawei P20 Pro is lack of the headphone jack. There is a connector to convert 3.5 mm to USB Type-C but fans are not happy with this decision.

The P20 Pro has a good 6.1″ large 1080×2240 pixels display, ideal for any flagship smartphone. It comes with AMOLED capacitive screen just like other high-end phones nowadays.
The option of multitouch is also present running with the EMUI 8.0 enhancing the graphics interface. The PPI density of the P20 Pro is quite low in comparison to S9 and iPhone X.

The hardware specs of the Huawei P20 Pro are a lot improved than the P20 and P20 Pro. An Octa-Core processor with 4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores powers the smartphone.
P20 Pro comes with the fast and latest HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset enough to provide a smooth usage. The graphics processing unit of the P20 Pro is the Mali-G72 MP12.
The latest version of the Android 8.0 Oreo takes into account as the operating system of the P20 Pro with the combination of EMUI 8.1. The new versions of EMUI are providing the features and perks that weren’t available in the previous versions.
The interface and the app menu is just like the iPhone’s one. The options to change this vastly available with a number of themes to choose from. EMUI 8.1 provides the necessary boot up push to the apps which load very quickly in the P20 Pro.

Huawei has extensively increased the RAM for P20 Pro to 6 GB making it super fast. The trend of employing 6 GB RAM in the flagship smartphones is rising. Huawei, following the same trend, looks to keep it as a standard for the new flagship smartphones.
Coming to the feature which everyone is keen to know about. No one can deny the brilliance Huawei has put in the triple camera of P20 Pro.

The results of the camera are just awesome. The camera supports 3x optical zoom as well. The best part of both the cameras is that they perform extremely well in low light situations. This makes the face identification unlock more efficient than that of the iPhone X.
The details of the images are very good and even after full zoom of a picture doesn’t affect the pixels. The standard image size is 10 MB but it can go up to 76 MB if necessary.
The front camera is 24 MP which also provides another plus point to the Huawei P20 Pro. The front camera accounts for the Face ID unlock feature of the smartphone. The results of the front camera of P20 Pro are also quite great even in low light modes.
Huawei P20 Pro gets its power from the big non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery. It is ideal for a flagship smartphone of this caliber.
The fast charge feature is another big advantage charging the battery to full in 1 hour 30 minutes. One negative feature of the P20 Pro is the absence of wireless charging in the smartphone.
You can get your Huawei P20 Pro in four colors which are Twilight, Black, Midnight Blue, Pink Gold.
